Brooke Morrow, 19, of Marchant Drive, was driving an all-terrain vehicle on the road Saturday night, May 21, with three passengers after drinking alcohol, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said. Morrow rolled the vehicle when she tried to make a sharp U-turn in a cul-de-sac.

As it flipped, the ATV threw one rider off as another got pinned beneath it, deputies said. Paramedics airlifted one of rider for serious but not-life-threatening injuries. The other received treatment at a local hospital.

Officials charged Morrow with DUI, maiming as a result of DUI, driving after illegally consuming alcohol, and underage possession of alcohol, deputies said. Authorities held her at the Rappahannock Regional Jail until she sobered up.
